Star 3 Media FAQ and Glossary of terms

DESIGN CONCEPT

A concept will be provided for approval, showing style and colour. Design changes not implemented during this initial concept approval stage or excessive changes may be subject to variation fee. Items not mentioned within this proposal will be considered variations. Variations should be discussed with the art director before implementing.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Once the concept has been approved, the subsequent artwork will be created and modified accordingly. In the case of a website, updates to the development area will be live, allowing “real-time” monitoring of the progress of the web site construction. In the case of print work, proofs will be emailed at the completion of each stage.

VARIATIONS

Any major change to the design, content or the flow will be reviewed meaning deliverables and cost may be subject to change. Any variations will be charged at our standard hourly rate and will seek prior written approval before implementation.  Variations (regardless of size) should be submitted in writing to the art director.

NON-DISCLOSURE & PRIVACY

We respect all our clients’ privacy and we understand that your business information is highly sensitive.  Staff are more than happy to sign a Confidentiality Agreement should you require it, but we normally assume that by signing a contract with us – that is the case anyway!

TIMELINES

Very for each project but we do try to ensure all our clients have a very quick turnaround time where possible.  If there is a particular deadline that we need to hit, we need this disclosed to us as soon as possible so that we can plan for it and schedule the work in.

OUTSOURCING

Star 3 Media do not outsource any components of design or programming.

CONTENT & COPYWRITING

Clients are more than capable of providing their own content, but if that is just too hard we have a copywriter that will be able to add your text and any design changes that you need, can also be done in-house.

TRAINING MANUAL

Every website comes with a manual in both hard and soft copy.  The manual is to supplement your training and is a hand reference guide to keep at the office.
